Replacement of a failed septic tank with a 15 person non-electric Treatment Plant
Coniston in Cumbria
BIOROCK ST1-5000 Primary Settlement Tank and BIOROCK-E Treatment Unit.
Description: The existing septic tank had fractured and was leaking to ground and into a nearby stream. It was servicing a main family home and 3 small holiday let units. The planned location of the plant was remote from the properties and the owner wanted to have a non-electric solution if possible. The new system was installed downstream of the existing septic tank with the treated effluent discharging via gravity to the nearby stream. The installation was completed over a 3 day period.
